Appliscale is a software engineering consultancy specializing in designing and building bespoke digital products for startups, scale-ups, and Fortune 500 companies across the USA, Europe, and Asia. The company delivers end-to-end software solutions; from business analysis and architecture design to cloud-native development and deployment, helping clients build scalable, secure, and impactful digital products. 

Operating with a startup mindset and a flat organizational structure, Appliscale combines technical excellence with innovation, working across industries including gaming, fintech, proptech, ad tech, legal tech, and AI/ML.

The Challenge:

As Appliscale continued to expand its portfolio of international projects, it needed experienced engineering leaders capable of supporting complex software development initiatives for global clients. 

The company partnered with dotLinkers to recruit specialists for two strategic positions: 

• Lead Mobile Engineer  
• Senior DevOps Engineer in Data Engineering  

The Data Engineering role was particularly demanding, requiring a senior-level professional with expertise in modern cloud-based data platforms and the ability to collaborate with distributed engineering teams in the United States. 

The ideal candidates needed experience with: 

• Python and modern data engineering practices.  
• AWS, Databricks, DBT, and PySpark.  
• Infrastructure automation using Terraform.  
• Designing and optimizing ETL pipelines.  
• Working with large-scale data environments.  
• Cross-functional collaboration with international teams, including US-based stakeholders.

Additionally, the Lead Mobile Engineer role required both deep technical expertise and leadership skills to support engineering teams delivering high-quality mobile applications for international clients.
