The Challenge:

Tape partnered with dotLinkers to hire a Fullstack PHP Developer who would join the team responsible for delivering web projects for international clients.

The main challenge was finding an experienced developer with strong PHP expertise, commercial experience with WordPress and WooCommerce, and the ability to independently develop custom functionalities, integrations, and maintain existing solutions.

The ideal candidate needed to have:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of PHP and experience working with WordPress-based solutions.
Commercial experience with WooCommerce.
Experience developing and extending WordPress plugins and themes.
Knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce APIs.
Ability to work with existing codebases and integrate external systems.
Good problem-solving skills, independence, and communication abilities.
English proficiency at least at B1 level.
