We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer for a company offering complex track and trace solutions for big manufacturers that provide the assurance of authenticity during the whole production lifecycle of luxury goods (tobacco, pharma, spirits, sportswear, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Identifying software critical and weak points in areas including, but not limited to, functional and data processing.
- Collaborating with the development, testing, and support teams to ensure requirements/bugs that will be tested are well captured.
- Designing of test scenarios for automation that:
- Targeting application critical and weak points (improvement of current regression, sanity, and smoke tests)
- Satisfying software change requirements/bug fixes
- Review current manual tests and assess their automation feasibility.
- Developing automated test procedures for designed scenarios.
- Executing automated tests and report discovered defects to the development team.
- Troubleshooting existing automated test procedures and applying necessary corrections.
- Creating meaningful test reports for the development team and stakeholder/s.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in development and testing in a scrum environment
- Advanced automation programming/scripting skills (specifically SQL, Python)
- Advanced knowledge of web service/API messages (JSON, SOAP/XML, REST)
- Experience in test management and test automation
- Experience in Microsoft Azure and GIT repositories
- Experience in logistics/supply chain web applications is nice to have, but not necessary.
- Strong analytical and critical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
