About the role: 

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator with strong expertise in Jira and Jira Service Management. This role involves managing, optimizing, and supporting the Jira environment to ensure smooth operations across the organization.
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Administer and maintain Jira and Jira Service Management, including workflows, automations, user permissions, and plugins. 
  • Design and manage queues, SLAs, knowledge bases, and customer portals. 
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for optimization. 
  • Develop and deliver training, documentation, and support to users to enhance adoption. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical solutions clearly to all stakeholders. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Strong administration skills with Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence 
  • 3+ years of experience in systems or IT administration 
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and process improvement practices 
  • Excellent analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities 
  • Clear communication and teamwork skills 
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Groovy (preferred) 
  • Jira-related certifications or a relevant technical degree (nice-to-have) 
  • Exposure to Agile environments, DevOps practices, or cloud-based Jira deployments is an advantag
