As a global leader in allergy immunotherapy, our client works to improve the quality of life of many allergy sufferers whose disease remains uncontrolled despite symptomatic treatment by developing products that provide long-term relief. They offer allergy immunotherapy products through injections, sublingual drops, and sublingual tablets – the latter being the newest, best-documented, and most convenient form of treatment. In addition, they produce automatic adrenaline injectors used to treat severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) and offer products for diagnosing allergies. They reinvest vast chunks of their annual income to discover and develop new drugs. At the same time, they are working on raising awareness among healthcare professionals and patients, as well as on new treatment options.

The role:
As a Full Stack .NET Developer in the AI & Automation team within Global IT, you will play a key role in designing and delivering global software solutions with a strong focus on AI applications. Collaborating closely with a diverse international team, you will contribute to AI adoption across the organization and help shape ALK’s technology landscape.
This is an international role, and you can expect 10–30 travel days per year.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust, scalable end-to-end software solutions, integrating both frontend and backend components across ALK applications, including AI-powered tools and workflows
- Deliver and orchestrate AI agents and AI flows using C#, Python, Azure AI Services, and Databricks AI, ensuring seamless business integration
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the AI & Automation team to translate organizational needs into innovative, production-ready AI and software solutions
- Contribute to system architecture and deployment, shaping user-facing experiences and underlying infrastructure for performance and reliability
- Take ownership of projects from concept to deployment, managing your own workstreams
- Identify opportunities for process automation and enhancement using cutting-edge AI technologies and implement them with business stakeholders
Requirements:
We are looking for a solution-oriented developer with strong technical expertise and a passion for AI innovation.
- Expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, with hands-on experience in MVC frameworks, JavaScript, GIT, and SQL databases
- Expertise in Python (preferably LangChain)
- Familiarity with Databricks and Machine Learning is considered as a strong asset
- Proficiency in Azure AI Services and C# code (Semantic Kernel nice to have)
- Experience with Azure Functions and integration of Azure resources into workflows
- Knowledge of managing and administering Microsoft Azure Cloud resources
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates or Terraform)
- Understanding of software architecture design and software testing
- Basic knowledge of PowerShell
- Excellent problem-solving skills, proactivity, and a solution-oriented mindset
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage
