Our client is a product-driven technology company building a mobile and web platform that supports kindergartens, nurseries, educators, and parents in their everyday work. Their software eliminates administrative friction, simplifies communication with parents, and gives educators back their most valuable resource — time.
The product is used daily by hundreds of thousands of parents and thousands of childcare institutions across multiple international markets. Thanks to its scale, engineers can clearly see how their work impacts real users and improves day-to-day operations in education.
The company operates with a strong product mindset, a mature engineering culture, and a flat organizational structure. The mobile application is a core part of the ecosystem and is developed in React Native for both iOS and Android, serving over 270,000 daily active users.
To support further growth, our client is expanding its engineering team and seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native) to take ownership of features, contribute to architectural decisions, and help scale a large production mobile app.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining a large-scale React Native mobile application used daily by 270,000+ users (iOS & Android)
- Collaborating closely with backend engineers on new features and product improvements
- Writing modern, idiomatic, and well-tested React Native code
- Participating in release processes, performance optimization, and scaling efforts
- Contributing to technical and architectural decisions within the mobile team
- Taking ownership of features from concept to production
- Actively improving code quality, stability, and developer experience
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience with React Native
- Hands-on experience with both iOS and Android platforms, including app distribution and release cycles
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns
- Experience writing clean, maintainable, and well-testable code
- Proficiency in writing automated tests and designing testable components
- A very good command of English (spoken and written)
- Working proficiency in Polish (spoken and written)
Nice to have:
- Experience with Firebase and Realtime Database
- Familiarity with mobile analytics tools
- Experience with advanced automated testing (beyond basic unit/component tests)
- Knowledge of JavaScript ecosystem tools such as Node.js, React, or Next.js
- Understanding of UI/UX principles for mobile applications
