Responsibilities:
- Contribute to a Scrum team that tackles complex challenges and builds working software.
- Implement automation for the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) and development tools.
- Utilize technologies such as PowerShell, C#, Groovy, GitHub Actions, or similar tools to enhance our automation capabilities.
- Demonstrate expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Bring Azure experience to the table, contributing to the enhancement of our capabilities.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 availability of critical systems.
- Contribute to system software architecture development and future plans in collaboration with the Lead Software Engineer and Staff Engineers.
- Guide technical direction, planning, and solutions, specifying non-functional software requirements.
- Produce high-quality code effectively and serve as a role model and source of knowledge for the team.
- Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
- Provide development expertise to team members through education and review.
- Foster an environment of innovation and openness to new ideas among peers.
Qualifications:
- Solid software development experience (4+ years).
- Hands-on experience in CI/CD and DevOps enablement.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell.
- Experience with GitHub Actions (preferred), or similar technologies.
- Experience with Azure- preferred, or GCP, or AWS.
- Understanding of SDLC and best practices.
- A proactive problem solver with a hands-on attitude toward debugging solutions.
- Problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working with Agile development methodology.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Groovy.
- Experience with Ruby programming language.
