About the role:
As a Lead Cloud Engineer, you will help build a global Azure-based infrastructure supporting a data-driven e-commerce ecosystem. You’ll play a key role in designing, deploying, and automating scalable cloud solutions across multiple regions.

Responsibilities:

Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using Azure (AKS, Databricks, Event Hubs, storage, databases).
Manage automation, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
Ensure high availability, monitoring, and security compliance across environments.
Collaborate with development teams on infrastructure reviews, connectivity, and role management.
Optimize infrastructure through scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Requirements:

Proven experience with large-scale Azure deployments across multiple geographies.
Deep knowledge of Azure services, networking, Active Directory, and microservice deployments (HELM, manifests).
Strong grasp of monitoring (Log Analytics), security, and environment strategy.
7+ years in cloud engineering or a related field; leadership or senior team experience required.
Solid programming knowledge (Java/Kotlin preferred) and understanding of network protocols.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience setting up infrastructure in China.
Database administration background and global data handling knowledge (replication, classification).
